The cottage dates from the 19th century and has been refurbished to a high standard, ideal for families, couples or groups of friends.
Mathry is a small hilltop village with a pub and lies between St Davids and Fishguard. It is well placed for visiting all the attractions Pembrokeshire has to offer and is only 1.5 miles from the Pembrokeshire Coastal
Cosy in spring and autumn, with the log burner adding a warm glow to the living room, and a spacious place to relax in summer after an active day out on the beach or the coast path. Corner House Mathry makes an excellent base for exploring the north Pembrokeshire coast and local walks from the village.

Lying between St Davids and Fishguard, Mathry is ideally placed for exploring North Pembrokeshire's dramatic coastline, Blue Flag beaches and the Preseli Hills. Paths from the village run down to the Pembrokeshire Coast Path, around 1.5 miles away.

Corner House faces the village church in the heart of this quiet, hilltop village. The Farmers Arms is within 50 yards and offers a warm welcome to visitors, good food - much of it home made - and a well kept range of beers. It is family and children friendly and our visitors book is full of praise.
Inside
Corner House sleeps 4 adults, with one double bedroom, (with en-suite shower and WC), and two single rooms, all on the first floor. The main bathroom is on the ground floor. A cot and highchair are available.
The large living room and dining area has two sofas and an armchair arranged by the wood burning stove. There is a flat screen TV, with Freeview, a DVD player and a HiFi with a connection for your MP3 player. The dining area has an oak table and chairs, together with a bookcase and dresser stocked with a range of books, magazines, games and local information.
The kitchen/breakfast room was hand made by the local wood-turner in stained solid ash. It has an electric hob and double oven, dishwasher, microwave, alarge fridge-freezer and a table and chairs. It is well equipped for cooking, and there are plenty of mugs and glasses, crockery, pots, pans and utensils.
The washing machine and tumble drier are in the boiler room, where there is also some room to hang wet clothes if needs be.
Fresh bed linen is provided and there is no charge for heating.

Outside
To the front of the cottage is a small, walled seating area. This is a lovely sun-trap and a good place to relax and read or have a pre-dinner drink.
Parking is on the road to the front and side of Corner House.
"Beautiful cottage and stunning surroundings. The skylights in the 2 bedrooms were particular favourites.... we hope to stay again, its been great. We have had a wonderful week here in Mathry."
